We're back in Newfoundland. We beat the snow in France and managed to catch our connecting flight in Montreal, meet up with our youngest one in the airport and get home safely. All I can say is, it's good to be home. I am glad we were not part of the traffic/weather mess described here at CNN.
Monday, the thesis will be put into enveloppes and be sent off to the two readers, one of whom is in the departement and the other an outside reader. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Seems you are as lucky as we are!
We had a sunny day, only 1 cm of snow yesterday, but for tomorrow we expect a heavy load of ice pellets and snow. As usual, we have to make sure that we will have enough firewood and water in the house. (Nova Scotia Power Inc. announced already some power outages in the Halifax area today, but that surprisingly with calm and sunny weather!)
Have a good time!
